BIGFOOT thread is sourced from UK world renowned company COATS. This is good quality thread unlike others sold in ebay.
A good quality strong thread with good sewability. This is a strong thread with a nice feel as it has a polyester core with a cotton cover.
Size 36 is a strong thread that can be taken by most domestic machines with a metal bobbin case and by most drop in machines (the lower the number, the thicker the thread). It can also be used to sew by hand or with an industrial machine.
A premium thread giving you the strength of polyester with a pure cotton cover preferred by quilters.
Kindly note that this is a strong thread thin enough to allow its use by many sewing machines, it can also be used to sew by hand but in that case you may want a thicker thread (see photo for thickness of thread). BN.

Bigfoot BN is a bonded nylon thread made from pre-stabilised continuous filament nylon 6.6. It cuts cleanly at thread trimming with no ply separation and provides superior abrasion resistance in the sewn product.

STRONG. High tenacity nylon 6.6 thread for outstanding strength and durability
BONDED. Unique bond chemistry and proprietary coating technology produces a strong, uniform and supple thread with no ply untwisting, no flaking and no 'sewn in' colour change
LUBRICATED. Specially formulated lubricant for high temperature resistance and smooth operation through the needle eye without breaks, skips or staining
GOOD PERFORMANCE. Controlled stretch characteristics for good loop formation and tight, firm and balanced stitches
RESISTANT. Not affected by rot and mildew. Resistant to wear and tear.

Bonded polyester with UV protection.
Bigfoot UV is bonded, twisted continuous filament polyester thread with excellent UV and abrasion protection, specifically designed to provide resistance against harsh weather conditions. UVBOND can withstand UV degradation in all outdoor applications that are exposed to marine water and sunlight.

SEWING PERFORMANCE. Unique bonding technology that safeguards against ply untwisting in zig zag sewing and can sew through many layers of heavily finished fabric.
LUBRICATED. Dual level lubricated finish for needle heat protection and smooth sewing.
RESISTANT. Excellent bleach, mildew and rot resistance.

Bigfoot CP is a premium quality corespun thread that combines a high tenacity polyester filament core with a natural cotton cover. WOOLLY NYLON.
Bigfoot WN is a 100% polyester continuous filament textured thread. The textured filaments give the thread a soft feel and make it ideal for use in the loopers of overlocking, serging and cover seaming to provide softness and comfort, especially in "next-to-skin" seams.

COMFORT. Bigfoot WN provides good seam coverage and softness for neat, comfortable seams.
PERFORMANCE. Low shrinkage property ensures no seam distortion after washing. High level of colour fastness even in demanding washing conditions.
CERTIFIED. Certified to Öko-Tex Standard 100, class I, the most stringent class covering textile items for babies and toddlers.

Main Uses:

Use Bigfoot WN foR comfort in all next-to-skin garments, sportswear and leisurewear, swimming suits, leotards, underwear and lingerie, babywear, household textiles. Also used to give a clean, nice, smooth edge to napkins and tablecloths, please note that your overlocker needs to have a stitch length control so you can use a short length for this effect. FP.
Strong Fine Lubricated Polyester Thread.
Bigfoot FP is a lubricated polyester thread made from pre-stabilised high tenacity continuous filament polyester with good abrasion resistance. The soft finish with superior low friction lubrication reduces the effects of needle heat and abrasion. Bigfoot FP with its higher breaking strength and optimum stretch characteristics produces attractive, fine seams.

STRONG. Bigfoot FP is a high tenacity polyester thread. High strength to fineness ratio. Thin strong thread.
LUBRICATED. Treated with specially formulated lubricant that offers excellent frictional characteristics during high speed sewing.
PERFORMANCE. Controlled stretch characteristics yield excellent sewability with tight, firm stitches. Bigfoot LP exhibits excellent loop formation, consistent stitch formation and neat seam appearance.

Main Uses:

As Bigfoot FP is thin but with a good strength, it is the ideal thread to use to overlock garments without the need to change the thread on your overlocker to match the colour of the different fabrics. Some of our customers use the off-white colour for everything, others use off-white for ligth coloured fabrics and dark grey for dark coloured fabrics.
If you do a roll hem on a fine fabric (using an overlocker or a sewing machine), the result when you use Bigfoot LP has a tidy and delicate appearance.
Also ideal for felling machines.

ButtonLock.
Bigfoot ButtonLock is a fusible polyester / polyester corespun, self-locking thread for secure button attachment and secure sequin or bead attachment. The bonding properties of the thread are activated by iron (steam or normal) and ensure increased button security because of the added cohesion.

SECURE. Excellent adhesive properties delivers increased button and embellishment security.
STRONG. Buttons attached with Bigfoot ButtonLock achieve a higher button pull through strength. Average strength (2,004 gms!)
PERFORMANCE. The thread has excellent sewability and gives good abrasion resistance and a clean appearance due to the sealing of any loose ends. Bigfoot ButtonLock Enhances sewn seam quality with well-balanced stitching.

ET. Embroidery Thread.
Bigfoot ET polyester embroidery thread is an advanced Trilobal Thread for machine embroidery. It has an excellent lustre, durability and smooth operation at the highest speeds. Fibre Size: 120D/2 (40wt.) 1000m per cone.

RESISTANT. Bigfoot ET EMBROIDERY THREADS ARE HOT WASH RESISTANT, LIGHTFAST AND CAN BE DRY CLEANED. THEY HAVE EXCELLENT COLOUR FASTNESS. Resistant to perspiration and chemical attack and have low shrinkage.
PERFORMANCE. Bigfoot EThas an elongation (stretch) average of 17-20%. Much lower than some leading competitive products which have elongation averages of 20-30% . A lower elongation (stretch) levels result in the elimination, or significant reduction in looping and puckering problems.
QUALITY. Good quality control, which results in a tighter range in elongation from spool to spool and colour to colour. This allows you to embroider different colours without making tension adjustments. Also a lower elongation allows you to back off on tension right from the first stitch. Because of their high quality our embroidery threads can also be used in high speed embroidery machines.
STRENGTH. Bigfoot ET is strong, giving you durable seams, high tenacity, low breakage.
VERSATILE. Bigfoot ET threads are suitable for all domestic and industrial embroidery machines (carefully check the size of the spool to make sure it fits the thread holder on your machine). Even in the unlikely case that the spool doesn't fit the thread holder of your machine, you can use it with a thread stand.
