Photographer:  Albert Renger-Patzsch (German, 1897 - 1966) - important German photographer associated with the New Objectivity movement that flourished throughout Germany during the Weimar Republic. Like his counterpart Edward Weston in the United States, he believed the highest value of photography was in its ability to depict reality. Renger-Patzsch's archives were destroyed during World War II making his vintage work scarce.
