PLEASE NOTE EBAY COMPATIBILITY IS A GUIDE ONLY - IT DOES NOT ALLOW FOR DIFFERENT SPECS ON EACH VEHICLE, PLEASE CHECK ALL INFORMATION COMBINED IN THE ADVERT BEFORE ORDERING, MANY CARS CAN HAVE MORE THAN ONE OPTION AND EVEN THOUGH EBAY SAYS IT WILL FIT THIS MIGHT NOT ALWAYS BE THE CASE AND COULD BE LOWER DOWN IN THE LIST OF ADVERTS , IT WILL DO THIS SOMETIMES FOR ALL OPTIONS, ITS NOT ALWAYS THE FIRST OR THE CHEAPEST OPTION THAT IS CORRECT . PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THE NOTES SECTION TO THE LEFT OF COMPATIBILITY TABLE. IF IN ANY DOUBT PLEASE ADVISE A REG NO OR ASK SO YOU GET THE CORRECT PART FIRST TIME

IF ANY DOUBT PLEASE ASK OR CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICES UNDER BUSINESS SELLER INFORMATION AT THE BOTTOM OF EACH ADVERT WITH A REG OR CHASSIS NO SO WE CAN CHECK

Production Methods

Linear

The term ‘spring rate’ is used in order to define the ‘strength’ and ‘stability’ of a spring. The spring rate is made up of the variables: ‘Change in the force impacting on the coils’ for ‘Resulting change in the length’ of the spring. A spring with a constant ‘stability’ is described as a spring with a ‘linear characteristic curve’.

Progressive

The term ‘spring rate’ is used in order to define the ‘strength’ and ‘stability’ of a spring.

The spring rate is made up of the variables: ‘Change in the force impacting on the coils’ for ‘Resulting change in the length’ of the spring. In the case of a spring with a progressive spring rate, the ‘stability’ of the spring increases, the more the spring is compromised.

Constant Wire Spring

The most important characteristic of this spring shape is that the wire diameter is always constant and the spring rate stays the same.

This type of spring shape is currently experiencing a reduction in its use, as further developed designs have advantages which are described below.

Side Load Spring

Side load (or banana) ‘springs’ are curved and when compressed, they develop a side force on the shock absorber, which greatly reduces the friction on the piston rod and seal.

This function improves the response of the shock absorber and increases the service life of the damper.

Taper Wire Spring

The most important characteristic of this spring shape is that the wire diameter is always different, i.e. inconstant, and as a result, the spring rate is very variable.

Each individual coil has a different ‘stability’ whereby, when compressed, the total strength of the spring progressively changes towards a load. The spring is stronger, the more pressure that is applied upon it.

Mini Block Spring

The mini spring block has a barrel-shaped appearance and as a condition of the design, it always has to be produced with a variable (inconstant) wire diameter.

As a result, a perfect compact size is combined with progressive characteristics. The inconstantly cone-shaped and tapered wire diameter allows for full compression, without the coils being touched. This characteristic guarantees noise-free function under the vehicle and an extremely smooth ride.
