Vintage NOS K42Y-2 .047uf 250V capacitor. K42's are metalized
paper in oil, glass sealed in a metal body. These make great tone
capacitors for guitars. K42's in particular are like a new speaker
and will sound their best after being broken in for several hours.The
NOS 0.047uf has an nice clean tone – excellent choice for
Telecasters.
1966 Setup gives you the standard "modern" telecaster modes:
Position #1 (switch lever on the right): Bridge pickup alone with tone control engaged.
Position #2 (switch lever in the middle): Both pickups together in parallel.
Position #3 (switch lever on the left): Neck pickup alone with tone control engaged.
This Wiring Harness is drop in ready for your Tele build or upgrade. Pots
have ground to each other so this may be used with a non-conductive control plate. Harness will be shipped on a hard card
for protection.
