POP rivets (blind) closed end in all stainless steel are used to connect two pieces of material in a quick efficient way. 304-303 Stainless steel rivets are used in corrosive environments. Closed End Rivets differ from a standard blind pop rivet in that they feature a closed end which creates a watertight seal.

How to measure a Rivet: First, measure the diameter of the rivet itself with a dial caliper. Then, just like measuring a bolt, measure the underside of the rivet head to the end of the rivet head. Make sure that you do not measure to the end of the mandrel, you only want the length of the HAT and washer. The grip range of the rivet will be 1/8" shorter than the measured length. EXAMPLE: If the length of the hat is 1/2" the rivet is actually a 3/8" grip (.375), also known as a 4-6 rivet. Please refer to the diagram and charts below for grip ranges, grades, etc. Grip range is not the same as length, the rivet must expand or swell out on the backside in order to hold the rivet together.

Returns

Returns are accepted for 30 days for Domestic orders and 14 days for International orders from purchase date by contacting us at 866-573-0445 for a RMA number. Buyer pays return shipping and insurance costs. Returned open packages will be subject to partial refunds.
