The Harris NETPlus 200 HD Decoder is a professional quality, High Definition MPEG-2 decoder. The system de-multiplexes and decodes a single program of High Definition MPEG-2 4:2:2 or 4:20 video from a multi-program transport stream. Output is provided as SMPTE 292 video and AES3 digital audio. The system also provides an NSTC black burst timing reference input interface. The Model 200 supports up to 5 satellite inputs, internal digital audio decoding (AC-3), and provides an NTSC black burst timing reference output interface.
Configurations with a satellite interface provide support for QPSK, BPSK, and 16QAM demodulation.
Configuration control is via the system’s front panel, craft port, or telnet interfaces. An alarm interface is provided and can be used to light indicators on a status board, to activate an audible alarm, or to connect to a site alarm system
