A 19th century novelty timepiece in the form of a silver plated brass stirrup from which is suspended a timepiece with a white dial and black Roman numerals.
The timepeice is set within a patinated horseshoe set with blue enamelled nails and suspended by a silver plated spur with a gilded spiked wheel.
