Simply Delightful!!! Oldest Volkstedt Dresden Lace Two Little Ballerina Girls on Recamier Figurine, Seldom Seen Piece. Measures 4" tall and 5 1/2" in length. It has been closely examined by several people and no one saw any damage or lace loss. After being listed on eBay for a couple of months an astute collector asked questions about the lace on the ankles of the little girl on the right. So I got my loupe out and turned the piece upside down. Then I could tell that her right foot had been replaced and lace was added to her ankles to mask the one replaced foot. Also on the little girl on the left looks to have a gather of lace and a Blue Flower added to her skirt. I never noticed any of this when I originally listed the piece nor did the other two people that I had look at the piece. If there is anything else, it should be miniscule as now this piece has been checked many times. I will be adding another photo of the piece in natural light with a white background so all can be seen a little better. No chipped Fingers and Flowers look Great! What Attention to Detail these Oldest Volkstedt Pieces have!!  Marked on bottom as pictured with the 'Oldest Volkstedt' mark and also an old sticker. Will be securely packed for shipment.
