Bauerfeind Knee Support and Hinged Knee Brace The Bauerfeind GenuTrain S is a high quality knee brace designed to provide support for knee instability due to a sprain or tear of the medial collateral ligament (MCL) and/or lateral collateral ligament (LCL). In addition to ligamentous support these hinged knee braces are perfect for people with arthrtic knees or individuals looking for a patella knee brace for patella tendonitis from sports. The GenuTrain S knee support also functions as a hinged patella knee brace with a viscoelastic patella donut that stabilizes the patellofemoral joint with repeated bending and straightening of the knee. The knee brace features anatomically shaped side hinge bars that fit inside lateral guide channels made from thermomolded plastic. The knitted fabric material is contoured to fit to the shape of the knee and the side bars are moldable to customize the fit of the brace.
