Factory tested and certified. Fabricated using the original Doug Curtis design information.

100% compatible with older CEM3340 chips.

The excellent super stable and versatile CEM3340 voltage controlled oscillator, originally designed by Doug Curtis of Curtis Electromusic Specialities, as used in many classic synthesisers and some modern analogue modulars.

Ideal for new designs or vintage synthesiser restoration.

The CEM3340 was used in following synthesisers:

These CEM3340 (Rev G) chips are brand new genuine stock imported from the USA, they came from a production run of the original design and are not illicit copies. They are factory qualified and have not been used since leaving the factory. These chips have not been salvaged or "pulled from old synthesiser boards", they are not "new old-stock".

The newly manufactured chips were made to the original Doug Curtis design and are functionally identical.

A video of a practical comparison that demonstrates no discernible difference was kindly posted by Gregory Cox on Youtube, search “New vs. Old Curtis CEM3340 Rev G Comparison”.

I.C.s will be carefully packaged in rigid IC packing placed inside padded envelopes.

Dispatched from Dorchester in the UK.
