If you are buying these balls for your Dogs, please rest assured that all of our new and used tennis balls are quality branded balls, which are far more durable than the balls sold in supermarkets, pet shops, pound shops and the cheap / poor quality unbranded balls from China that do sell a lot on Ebay.

1) Do tennis balls have bad chemicals on them? NO, 25 years ago some were found to have unacceptable levels of lead in the coating. All modern balls are completely safe as adults and children alike play tennis for many hours with no side effects at all! Tennis players would be dropping like flies if they weren't completely safe.  2) Should my dog only have balls that have been washed? NO, machine washing balls can reduce their durability and remember as soon as you throw the tennis ball in the park a whole new host of germs could be on your freshly washed ball.  Dogs have extremely high stomach acid and can withstand much greater levels of everyday germs than humans. 3) Is the gas in tennis balls toxic? NO, when tennis balls are new they contain a tiny amount of nitrogen to give them pressure, this is completely harmless and disintegrates quite quickly after a couple of tennis matches.  There is no danger for dogs or humans.
