The AKG D8000S is a hand-held dynamic microphone for lead vocalists. The hyper-cardioid polar pattern design of this AKG microphone eliminates off-axis sounds from the sides and rear, and focuses on the audio input from the performer. With a frequency response range of 70 Hz - 20 kHz, the AKG D 8000 S effectively covers a wide spectrum of audible frequencies. This AKG microphone has a maximum Sound Pressure Level (SPL) of 140/150 dB that indicates the loudest sound the microphone can capture without distortion.
