This is a Mennon 55mm White Balance Lens Cap with mount  to fit lens with 55mm filter thread;


Using automatic white balance and the camera presets can be suspect , setting custom values with a gray and/or white card is a pain.
White balance caps are the easiest and most fool-proof way to enjoy consistent in-camera white balance and color correction.
Using a Mennon white balance cap will virtually eliminate the need for post-capture color adjustments of  your image.

The Mennon White Balance Lens Cap features a translucent white centre that can be used to set a manual white balance in tricky lighting conditions. 
Setting a manual white balance in difficult lighting conditions will often result in more accurate colours than using the camera's auto white-balance. 

    How to use: (some camera models may vary): 
    • In the camera menu set the manual mode for white balance
    • Attach the Mennon white balance lens cap to the lens
    • Turn the camera towards the light source illuminating your subject
    • Fire the shutter to take a White Balance reading.
    • Set the new white balance
    • Remove the Mennon white balance lens cap 
    • Start shooting.
