Beautiful neapolitan edition of 1782 of this interesting work by Bonaventure Racine (1708-1755) french churchman and historian. Racine was persecuted because follower of Jansenius ideas and his volumes put into index.
The work is made up of twenty tomes bound together in ten volumes and it is complete.
The author describes the history of Church from I century until XVII century included.

In very good conditions and complete.
Half leather cover with four nerfs with rich golden title and decorations in very good conditions slightly worn in the edges and spine. Binding in very good conditions. Pages in very good conditions with occasional foxings. Little hole in pag. 143 of tome IX with loss of text for a fault in printing. Slight water stain in the upper edge of tome XV. Last blank page in tomo VIII is missing. In 8. cm 24,5x20,5. Pp.
