Who is Pioner Fristads?

You will have heard of Pioner Fristads if you work in the oil rigg/ refinery industry as they specialise in technical garments at the upper end scale. Pioner Fristads is mainly an European company that only produces high quality garment for the workwear & heavy industries.

So what is this garment? 

This jacket is unlike most flame retardant jackets on the market.

Most jackets are made from a light weight polyester making them easy to tear.

This jacket is made from a much thicker flame retardant polyester cotton tough outer backed with a waterproof inner coating.

It is also a very versatile jacket as it has a full removable liner making it ideal for winter or milder conditions. 

Sizing

The sizing on these garments is very much on the big size so if you are unsure of size, we would recommend you choose the smaller size. 

Description

Outer made from Pioners "Antiflame" 50% polyester / 50% cotton

Zip in cotton flame retardant winter liner which includes sleeves. Liner zips inside the jackets and is also held in position with buttons in the neck & sleeve, this can be seen in two of the pictures.

Once the liner has been removed the outer jacket still has a cotton liner so the outer fabric is covered for comfort.

Zip front fastening with inner storm flap.

Adjustable velcro collar allowing it to be worn and sealed around the neck (see last picture).

(Please note this jacket has NO hood)

Flame retardant cotton elasticated cuffs and waist hem.

Two lower hand pockets with the same "antiflame" tough fabric inside.
