Thanks very much for looking at our listing for this wonderful Montblanc Jules Verne Writers Limited Edition Fountain Pen, which comes with its original box style presentation box (including branded and plain outers) and unstamped paperwork. Only 18,500 were produced (including sets) and this one has the serial number 05133. The pen was only used a handful of times and as such is presented in beautiful overall condition.

It's very easy to use such words as stunning, wonderful and amazing - in fact we use them many times in our listings. But sometimes you encounter writing instruments that truly surpass all these words and the Jules Verne edition does that in every conceivable way. The combination of the platinum trim, the deep shimmering blue lacquer and the ivory coloured snowcap make this, in my opinion, one of the very finest Montblanc pens ever made.

Launched in 2003, as the yearly offering for the Montblanc Writers Edition. The Writers Edition Jules Verne submerges the user in the depths of the ocean, so fantastically captured in his famous works "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea". The founder of the science fiction genre, Verne was famous for taking his readers away in to other worlds and experiences. The 18K rhodium plated medium nib features an engraving of an antique diver’s helmet.
