Up for sale is an absolutely beautiful original oil painting on board by the listed dutch artist Leedert Springer Jr. who lived from 1831 to 1894. This is a very sweet and pleasant composition with a mother and her two small ones playing out near the pond with the billowing clouds behind them in the sky. This painting is signed low left executed in oil on board and has significant age as you can see from the photo showing verso. A previous frame caused rubbing around its edges. These marks can be seen on the photos clearly. Dating roughly 150 years old this painting would benefit from a good cleaning making the colors pop. This painting measure 10 by 7.5 inches and would make an absolutely beautiful addition to ones collection. It is a classical Dutch scene for the mid 19th century and is soothing to stare at.
