izods is delighted to introduce our new professional polishing kit for fine writing instruments. The contents of the box are the result of more than 18 months of testing, refining and spending endless hours staring at the gloss on pens. As the name suggests, this is a professional grade polishing kit, its creation borne out of our own requirement to ensure that all the pens that we sell are offered in the best possible condition.

For most pen collectors, fans and enthusiasts they often find that after being used for a little while the impressive gloss and finish on any of their pens can quickly dull or tarnish... some see this as a well used pen, but for many they'd like the best of both worlds, happy pages full of writing but a pen that still looks fantastic.

That's where we step in... our polishing kit is designed to offer fantastic results and on-going protection. Maybe you've discovered a pen in the back of a drawer that hasn't been used for years or you might simply want to rejuvenate the finish on a daily writer. Whatever the requirement, this is the kit for you.

We’ve kept the process really simple, and as such each kit contains three 15ml glass jars, labelled A, B and C, along with a microfibre polishing cloth.

The three jars contain the following…

A: Supremely powerful polish used to enhance tired looking finishes on resin pens.

B: An all-round polish, containing an extremely fine abrasive, designed for light defect removal and with huge gloss creating abilities.

C: A Sterling silver polish - powerful yet gentle at the same time.

Here at izods this is exactly the same kit that we use to prepare all our writing instruments to the very highest standards. 

Each kit includes enough for approximately 40-50 pens – don’t forget this is not only for Montblanc, but for use on writing instruments from other prestigious manufacturers.
