Staybrite Queen's crown buttons.
This uniform dates from 1963 but it could be made up to look older for the likes of Goodwood Revival. Would be worn with a Sam Browne belt, the original tailor's belt is missing. This has one pair of pips making the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. It should in theory have three pairs of pips for a Captains rank however there are puncture holes to the epaulettes.
I have taken the following measurements as a guide for fit. If you are purchasing this item for wear please use these as a comparison to a garment that fits you to avoid a non fit.
Arm pit to arm pit laid flat across the chest - 20"
Waist measurement laid flat - 17 1/2"
Sleeve length taken from the seam of the shoulder to the bottom of the cuff - 26 1/2"
Sleeve length taken from the arm pit to the bottom of the cuff - 19 1/2"
Drop at the back from the seam at the base of the collar to the bottom hem - 32"
In good condition.
Trousers
Matching to the tunic. Button fly. Internal brace buttons, two of which are missing. External waist adjustment straps.
Waist measures 16 1/2" laid flat so roughly a 33".
Inside leg 31".
There is a repair to the left side pocket. A mark to the inner left leg and a small pin head sized moth hole. There is some wear around the hem lines of the legs and some faint marks probably from boot polish.

Shipping
Items are usually despatched within 24 hours of payment. We do aim to get to the post on a daily basis but this is not guaranteed especially on the weekend.
Courier items may take longer as we need to book collection 24hours in advance. Couriers do not collect over the weekend therefore items finishing on a Thursday may not be collected until the following Monday.
If Hermes is offered as a postal service please note they currently do NOT deliver to all addresses or may incur an extra charge for remote areas. These include Isle of Man, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands, etc. In this instance you must opt for the alternative courier option or contact us for a price on shipping.
Some of our heavier / bulky items can be shipped overseas but price depends on location. Please contact us for a shipping quote if one is not specified.
A note to our New Zealand buyers - for some reason eBay do not display an option for postage to NZ so please use the same displayed cost as for Australia.
We are happy to combine postage on multiple items but please wait to be invoiced or request total on completion of bidding. It makes for more work if you pay for multiple items separately and we do not get refunded for our percentage of eBay's fees.
