ITEM: ART POTTERY CLOCK
AGE: circa 1924 - 1930s
DESCRIPTION: This is a SCARCE Lux clock, housed within a brush McCoy pottery little brown jug! Main color is dark brown, blended with mocha, hazelnut and green. Stands 6-5/8" high and measures 5-1/4" wide. Measures 2-1/2" thick. Clock face measures 2" in diameter. Original paper label is long gone. A nice addition to your McCoy pottery or vintage clock collection!
MANUFACTURER: UNMARKED, but likely McCOY
CONDITION DETAILS: VERY GOOD. Clock does not appear to work, but I have not attempted to remove it from the pottery housing -- may need a good cleaning or proper winding. As shown in photos, has a chip on one underside corner that maybe be a kiln scar from the manufacturing process. Also has one very small fleabite chip. No other cracks, breakage, chips, hairlines or repairs noted.
