Beautiful Antique Brass Snuff Box. Looks like a Continental example (Dutch?).

Engraved with a name which is worn and Unreadable, but the Date of 1887 although worn is clearly visible.

Some surface tarnishing, which after 130 years I think we can expect :-)

Really lovely little item.

If only it could talk, I'm sure it would have some stories to tell!
