Excellent condition - just rebuilt by Specialized!!!

This auction is for a used RockShox/Specialized SID World Cup 29" Brain Fork with tapered carbon steer tube, 100mm of travel, and standard Quick Release.

I am the original owner - this fork came off my Specialized S-works Epic and has been regularly serviced. The fork is in really nice condition. The stanchions are unmarked, there are very few cosmetic blemishes (the two chips are shown in the pics) and the fork just came back from Specialized today where it received its 150 hour service. Essentialy, this means the fork was completely rebuilt and the brain was serviced - the cost was $300. So it should basically work like new.

This is the World Cup (WC) version, which means it has a full carbon crown and tapered steerer. It is dual air, which means it has a positive and negative air chamber. It also has adjustable rebound.

The Specialized Brain keeps the forked locked out until you hit a bump, at which point an inertial valve opens and the suspension becomes active. The Brain Fade adjustment lets you choose between softer and firmer Brain settings.

Travel is 100mm, and the dropouts are standard quick release. The steer tube is approximately 168mm from the crown race to the top of the tube. This fork came off a medium Epic, with room for the stem and about 15mm worth of spacers.

Let me know if you have any questions. I'm happy to provide the paperwork (and receipt) from the 150 hour service!
