These are the preferred oil seals for this application as 

they have two spring tensioned lips for optimum sealing.

 

This is the seal that is used when removing the inner axle seal to 

then run the wheel bearings on oil from the diff centre.

To check if the hub seals are leaking on your Land Rover look on the 

inside of the wheel and see if there is oil leaking onto the brake caliper.
