A GRP fuselage Kit by Roban for 450 size helicopter

The replica of the Hughes MD 500E in well-known Jive paint, is now also available for the 450 he helicopter class. The original is used as a smaller, more agile multi-role helicopter. We have uploaded some pictures from the original with, so that you have a comparison. Earlier, the helicopter bore the name Hughes 500E. After the acquisition of the production by Mc Donald Douglas, he is now called MD-500E.

The model by Heliartist comes close to the original. In the fuselage, some technical changes have been made so that the model is simply more stable. So the landing gear fails slightly wider, otherwise the risk of breakage during a "hard landing" would be very large. Also the rear pipe of the Semiscalerumpf has a slightly larger diameter, through fit the stern tube by your 450 Hubi. Many details have been applied, however, so door hinges, door handles and maintenance flaps have been laminated with. Hint: with a dark gray fine liner you can highlight even more the details. Some rust stains with copper / bronze-colored felt-tip pen, more "scale" make your model and unique. 

The striking red metallic paint, you can pretty well the flight attitude of Hubis.

The hull material fiberglass (glass fibre) is made. This is handmade, making every hull small little different falls, as must be laminated in various forms. The Fiberglass material the perfect blend of stability - elasticity - brings weight for the construction of the model. It is also not brittle, as is the case with plastic hulls. On harnessed can be omitted here, the fiber is strong enough, this saves us more time considerable weight. The fuselage canopy can remove her and easily switch to the battery. The fuselage cover is held by powerful neodymium magnets.

The Hughes are the easiest to use of all hulls MD-500 hulls. Through the open rear tube of the Scalerumpfes, you can use almost every 450 Hubi, so that on the Helimechanik itself, little needs to be changed. At the most helicopters, just the tail servo must be turned down a bit. By construction, we'd rate 2-3 cozy craft evenings. The tail rotor head must be reduced at your Hubi. You should also remove the main rotor blades, then BB´s is much easier. Then, the mechanism is aligned and already laminated Assembly Board screwed on (which is somewhat "fiddly", because it's quite closely in the fuselage). Now you can build the rotor heads again. We recommend that already now to reinstate the helicopter and fly up before you completed the conversion. If everything fits come still the tail of the helicopter. At the end of some "scale", eg. with felt-tip pen, as mentioned or even through attach text labels that can connect to your printer using self-adhesive foil of printer. Also the colors of the plastic model are very well suited. There are no limits of the imagination. If you like, can attach also a lighting (we have also in the assortment, just ask).

For pilots, the one Blade fly: for the blade helis there with us also a set of adapter ( 9.90 euros). This fitting is easier, but it is not absolutely necessary, if you have some experience - model construction, just.
