1920's Gilbert Chemistry Set #5009

Set #5009 appears well used, many of the labels of the chemicals a torn and much of the equipment shows signs of rust. The red exterior of the box appears well kept with very little damage. There is a small crack (shown in photos) on the underside lid. The green cardboard inserts appear stained in places and warped in other places. A few of the metal hinged holders appear to have broken off and are no longer functional.  All of the wooden containers still contain chemicals. There are a few smaller test tubes missing their contents. The integrity of the chemicals within the containers is unknown. The set is thought to be from the 1920's based on the manual included.
