ESH Custom Build Active Jazz Bass made in West Germany from the 90's. Rare one of a kind this may be a prototype as haven't seen another one like it, very unique.
Bass is chock full of quality components including Flamed Ash Body with custom design pickup up placements, Rosewood Fretboard, High Mass Bridge with Stainless Steel Saddles, Bartolini Pickups, Custom Preamp, Schaller Machine Heads, from what I could find about these basses they were quite expensive back in the day!
Bass has cool 3 tone sunburst finish over all very nice but there is quite a bit of scuffing on the front from previous player aggressive pick use. I compounded some of it out, its not through the wood only in the clear coat so not easy to see.
Just installed new quality D'addiaro strings bass has good action and plays smoothly. The fret work is professional, satin neck, 21 fret with branded ESH logo in headstock. Truss rod is maxed out but current state is very good i would rate 8 out of 10 in playability.
Heavy Flamed ash bass weighs in at 10.5 pounds.

Note for International Buyers Due to size restrictions by USPS to some countries the neck may have to be removed to reduce the size of the box. This is very easy to reassemble simply reinstall the 4 screws into the neck plate to the neck. The components will be carefully packed for transport.
