Container door locks and handles are traditionally HOOPL Brand. Our HOOPLY handles and locks are available for LH and RH hinge doors, opening inwards and outwards. All handles come with an integrated privacy lock thumb turn on the internal.
Please specify the handing of the door (hinge side) when viewing the door from outside.
All handles and locks are delivered for free, or available for collection from our premises in the West Midlands. Free delivery is with Royal Mail, 2nd Class. Express Delivery is with Royal Mail, 1st Class.
Lock Case
The standard HOOPLY lock case is the most traditional HOOPLY lock, found in container doors and steel doors with multi point locking systems (10 point, 12 point, 15 point and 19 point locking doors). It has a reversible handing function, allowing you to change the direction if the latch for LH or RH opening doors.
Handle Model #5586
These standard HOOPLY handles are the type issued with all of our steel doors, offering a great, functional handle for container doors. The matching cylinder covers, gaskets and all fixings are provided with these handles.
Handle Model #2066T, #2068
These are both uPVC door style handles, for more office / domestic style applications. The matching cylinder covers (#2068 model only), gaskets and all fixings are provided with these handles. The 'T' handles have euro cylinder cut outs ideal for use with a thumb turn cylinder.
Security Handle Model #918902
These handles are constructed from Stainless Steel #304 and considered our highest security handles. They have an additional function, allowing you to tighten a grub screw through the lever onto the spindle, technically securing the handles in place in a 3rd position. The security cylinder covers, gaskets and all fixings are provided with these handles.

We do our very best to see that our customers are happy with their purchases. However, should you wish to return your order for any reason, please read the following:
- • Returns are accepted if they are sent back to us in the original packaging, in undamaged condition, within 30 days of receipt.
- • All goods MUST be inspected for any damage in accordance with our Delivery Policy, and we kindly request that any claims for damage be reported via email to us within 48 hours of receipt but within a maximum of 30 days from receipt. Where there is evidence of damage to the outer transit packaging you must mark the delivery as “Damaged“ when signing for it.
- • Should you choose to return your order for reasons other than damage/defect, please contact us for a returns form.
- • Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of any returned items.
How many keys come with the door?
• Personnel steel doors come with 3 keys as standard with a euro profile tradelock cylinder. Upgraded 1* and 3* cylinders come with 3 keys too.
• Fire exit doors ordered with an Exidor 200 series 302 or 322 outside access device come with 3 keys.
Additional keys are available to purchase; we have a key cutting machine on-site. We also offer a key alike system, allowing you to use the same key for multiple doors.
How much do the doors weigh?
• Standard duty doors weigh on average 40kg*
• Heavy duty doors weigh on average 85kg*
• Ultra duty doors weigh on average 95kg*
• Double doors weigh on average 110kg*

Is quantity discount available?
We apply combined shipping rules against all of our doors. After the first door is added to your basket, additional doors are delivered at £25.00+VAT
For orders containing 5 doors or more, we can negotiate more competitive delivery rates
What are the door sizes? What is the clear opening?
• The sizes listed are external frame sizes. We recommend leaving a 5mm gap around the door frame for adjustments when fitting.
• We offer side panels and over panels if you need to add to the width or height of the door. We also offer a cut down service to reduce the height of the door
• To calculate the clear opening (when the door is open), subtract 135mm from the width dimension. E.G. 895mm-135mm=760mm clear opening
