Yes!  You can have a reproduction Civil War era newspaper that IS NOT a Harper's Weekly or Leslie's Illustrated!!  The Tract Journal was a newspaper that was published during the war by the American Tract Society, the group that provided millions of pages of reading material to both Union and Confederate troops during the war through the United States Christian Commission, colporteurs, chaplains, and in packages from home.  Furthermore, the American Tract Society sent thousands of tracts and papers across the lines to the Confederate troops, as well.

Our reproduction offered on light weight newsprint paper, not the thick paper often seen in Harper's and other reproductions. It is a copy of the November, 1862, issue.  The paper has news stories of the day, scientific information, Gospel stories and anecdotes, and more!  A great item for the knapsack or period mail call or period sutlers.  Copies are limited, so don't delay!
