A beautifully carved wooden duck decoy.   Signed Mark Buck 1984.   Solid pine construction with very fine detail.   The dark color seems to have been done with a woodburning tool.   Glass eyes.   I'm not sure what type of duck this is supposed to be,  perhaps a bufflehead.   A great piece of American folk art!  

Size:   13" long and weighs nearly 3 pounds 

Condition:  Very good original condition.  A few scuffs and some tiny paint splatters but otherwise a good solid decoy.
