Unit - sPzAbt 511 - In January 1945, the 502nd Heavy Panzer Battalion (Mammoth) was redesignated the 511th. This battalion fought on the Eastern Front until April when the battalion was disbanded and it surrendered to the Red Army on 9 May. By that time, the battalion had been issued 105 Tiger Is and eight Tiger IIs. Originally, the 502nd was the first unit to receive and field the Tiger I (it was on the Eastern Front - south of Lake Ladoga near Leningrad). It was also one of the most successful Germany heavy tank battalions, claiming the destruction of 1,400 tanks and 2,000 guns.

Markings - dark green and octopus pattern salmon color camouflage 

Mint condition/limited production - only 999 pieces manufactured/exquisite detail - from the first Dragon Expo (DX) in 2004 - the Weekend of Heroes - held in Ontario. This tank was one of three special exclusives only available at the show. Two of the themes were the Battle of Stalingrad and Anzio.
