The sticks bundles come in a open end plastic bag with fragrance name. Approximately 100 Sticks per bundle. Beneficial to the person that wants a premium incense to fill the room. The incense is soaked in the oil for days and then drip air dried in buckets in a cool environment, then bagged and coded. Made from bark based powders mixed with plant resin based binder around the wood bamboo stick . Our end product to you is soaked for days at Zelda's then dried slowly in a cool dark place for a creamy scent for your inner senses. sometimes smell smoky and more woody and why? because oils dry more in heat and they are a bamboo ! But that is all ok ! Zelda's formulated scented incense made with 100% oils here in the USA ! Each stick burns for 45 min. *color coded w/ non toxic finger paint ends . The Real EO (soaked in essential oils) have a tendency to be LIGHT scented, but they still are aromatherapy scents and therapeutic still dipped in the Real Organic Essential Oils! Making this product since 1985 says a lot for this product !
All companies incense smell different as the procedures of soaking the incense varies upon different sources of kinds of oils also vary, keep this in mind before getting discouraged. There is a lot of care that goes into the soaking and drying so please be sure to want "my" lovely scents and they do smell different.
Once you receive the product rub a natural stick so the smell of the oil can be detected by your nose (the scent of the oil will definitely be there) Warmer weather brings out the smell of oils and fill your incense storage place with fragrance, even before burning! NOTE* in the wintertime to remind you that I am soaking the incense in colder conditions they will release the fragrance after hours of getting to your warm house ! Its your own reminiscent or interpretation of what a scent should smell like to you please keep that in mind when you try Zelda's Famous Incense !

*NOTE: these are soaked fresh hours before I ship as a custom order no returns please for smell or wet if they did not get a chance to fully dry for burning, humidity conditions etc. They will eventually dry. Not to be compared to your commercial store made incense burning experience. Put them in a freezer for 10 minutes to correct weather conditions. Due to source of growing bamboo structure and size may vary
2. cant smell musk ? there are 100's of musk. All of us have some problems smelling some musk. This is true of pretty much everybody, including perfumers. which particular musk one cannot smell varies across people. It just happens that you are anosmia to some. Constantly working with one scent - makes olfactory fatigue.

1. light it correctly - lite the tip FIRST let get flame - if need be FULL 30 seconds
gently blow or fan the flame out. (full red amber is needed for correct smoldering)
Smoldering is much more accurate and will
produce much more enjoyable results.
2. Some people have actually taken the first step: purchasing
incense. Then, they get discouraged, because it is not what they
expected.
3. Rather than use the phrase Burning Incense,
THE INCENSE MUST SMOLDER !
and you will get the smell of the resins it is made of also.

6. with a very oily scent - put sticks you want to use that day in freezer or outside on a cold porch in the winter for 30 mins - this will help lighting . (this cold temp. separates the sticks also !
