These new, high quality and UK made badges are made with a shallow clear resin dome (so that they don't stick out too much) and feature black text matched to the original font on the bike's underlying original pannier badge - all on a chrome ground. 

These badges are sold in pairs so a purchase of '1 unit' gets you two badges.

The badges are designed for and fit exactly over the inner portion of the pannier badges on the ST1300 but they can equally well be used anywhere else on your Pan European, regardless of which model or year it is. 

As these badges are quite flexible, I even have one on the back of my helmet!

Pan owners have commented that the original pannier badges are a bit pointless! They are incised black on a black ground so cannot be seen properly, if at all - these badges fix that and provide a format and size matched, discreet yet notable, good looking and lasting enhancement to your bike.

The badges measure 92mmx14mm and are backed with an aggressive and long lasting, adhesive film. 

Each of my own Pans has been fitted with these and they have never 'let go' in years, regardless of Scottish weather or travel speed.

The adhesive is ultra strong and will last for years so long as the surface it will be applied to is thoroughly cleaned and degreased with meths. The badges should be applied with the panniers off the bike to allow precise placement, first time. Place them only where you want them to stick and don't try to move or reposition them after the first touch. Make sure there is no polish of any sort anywhere near the application surface. So make it clean, dry, dust free, degreased with METHS with the badges applied in the right place first time. Applying the badges to a slightly warmed surface will further aid adhesion and once they are in place apply a firm pressure (not rubbing) a few times during the first 24 hours after fitment to really get them to adhere firmly.
