This is an original antique map of Holyoke, South West Section, Massachusetts, from the Atlas of Hampden County, Massachusetts, with Holyoke Subscriber's Business References, published by F. W. Beers in 1870. Hand colored. Approximately 23 inches by 16 inches.

The Business Reference list includes Attorneys, Real Estate Editor, Insurance Agents, Physicians & Surgeons, Manufacturers, Merchants, Miscellaneous, Contractors and Builders.

Identified on the map: Connecticut River Railroad, Brick Yard, Water Power Co., Schoolhouses, Woolen Mills, Thread Co., Machine Co., Thread Co., Mill Race, Churches, Parsonage, Paper Companies, etc.

Condition: Paper is age-browned, otherwise good. See scans. This map is bigger than my oversized scanner, so I have scanned it in two parts.

This interesting old map will make a great addition to any Holyoke home or office.

Maps are mailed flat, by Priority Mail, in a 200 lb test corrugated folder, on a 200 lb test corrugated backer board, in a clear plastic acid-free sleeve, to be sure it gets to its new home safely.
