FLASHABOU

RAINBOW

Hedron Flashabou – The original metallic tinsel flash in a large color offering. This started it all, setting industry standards for every metallic flash product! Hedron Flashabou features marabou action for flies and lures. Super strong fiber won’t matte as it swims and flows through the water, beckoning fish.

Flashabou is used for dressing flies, jigs and spinnerbaits. Perfect for wings, tails, ribbing and bodies. Use as an accent underwing on any hairwing steelhead/salmon pattern.  Used on many steelhead and (what seems like all) Alaska patterns. And great for all number of saltwater patterns and big native fly patterns too.

Contains approximately 1700 strands, 1/69″ wide by 10″ long.

Here at Troutlore we strive to keep the fly tying products you want and need IN STOCK and ready to ship at all times. That said, we don’t have everything. But, if you are looking for a material in particular and cannot find it on the site, please get in touch with us. If we are able to source the product we will, and we will keep it in stock for future purchases. It’s all about making fly tying simpler and more accessible for Australian fly fishers. We’re here to help, so please, just ask.

I operate this small business in an aim to provide fly fishers with the tools and materials needed for chasing trout in all waters. I choose the range of products to stock and sell from the items I use myself and items I just love. I am a real fly fishing tragic that has fully understood the concept that this is a sport of accessories. I am always looking for new toys and tools to take out onto the river and those that I can readily supply will be available here for you too.

I photograph every item I sell so you can see them in the listing as they will arrive. I think it is important to understand just what you are getting and not to rely on a stock photo that may not truly represent the actual item.

All feather products that are individually photographed are numbered so when you purchase that item, you get the exact feathers shown in the photos. I think it is important to get the item you see shown in the picture when choosing feathers.

Thanks for looking.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me by email and I will get back to you as soon as I am free, and not out on the river.
