Here is a handsome antique map of Anna, Illinois, Township 12 South, Range 1 West of the 3rd P.M., from the Atlas of Union County, published by Geo. A. Ogle & Co., 1908.  Size is approximately 15 inches by 17.75 inches. Scale 2 inches to 1 Mile.

Most houses on this map are identified by the property owner's name. Among the surnames shown: Lingle, Kohler, Cates, Dillow, Howenstein, Dubois, Stout, Harrison, Smukowski, Casper, McDermott, Treece, Sadler, Manus, Lentz, Ellis, Stokes, Hileman, Babcock, Menees, Brann, Rendleman, Bizzel, Andrews, Poole, Mitchell, Ditter, Jeannette, Kinney, Boyd, Hess, Kimmel, and many more.

Number of acres owned is given on most properties.

Also shown: Cemeteries, Schoolhouses, Illinois Central Railroad, Western Saratoga P.O., Otrich's Sub, Southern Illinois Insane Asylum, Union Lime & Stone Co., Springs, Electric Railway, Fair Ground, etc.

Condition: Some age browning, some smudges, nicely mended tears in bottom margin, paper loss at bottom left margin. See all scans. This map is larger than my oversized scanner, so see all scans to see all margins.

This map would be an interesting addition to any Anna home or office. A lot of Anna history and genealogy is recorded on this map.
