Memorable Medal `National Technical University of Ukraine` Igor Sikorsky Kiev Polytechnic Institute ` Nickel 2018
The medal is made of nickel silver, the quality of coinage - "special uncirculated" weight - 12.8 grams, diameter - 31.0 mm, circulation - 30 000 pieces.
A memorable medal dedicated to one of the largest institutions of higher education in Ukraine and Europe, founded in 1898. The National Technical University of Ukraine plays a significant role in the training of highly skilled engineering and scientific personnel and has been among the top three educational institutions in Ukraine for many years.
On the obverse of the medal there is: the main building of the university, over which - the Small State Emblem of Ukraine and the year of the university's foundation - 1898; By circle there are inscriptions: NATIONAL TECHNICAL (top), UNIVERSITY OF UKRAINE (below).
The reverse of the medal depicts I. Sikorsky, to the right of which is the emblem of the university and the statement by I. Sikorsky: `I remove a hat in front of the alma mater, which prepared me to conquer the sky`; year of issue - 2018 and the logo of the Banknote-Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine. Above is a semicircular inscription: KPI im. IGOR SIKORSKY.
