*NOTE TO EBAY - THESE BOXES ARE EMPTY AND DO NOT CONTAIN ANY RESTRICTED AMMUNITION COMPONENTS*

Up for your consideration is a set of two empty reproduction M1911 .45 ACP 20 round ammunition cartons, with FRANKFORD ARSENAL (F A) labels.

Model 1911 ball rounds were first manufactured at Frankford Arsenal starting in August 1911, with contract manufacturing continuing with the Winchester Repeating Arms Co. starting in December 1912. Another early contract was given to the Remington Union Metallic Cartridge Co., with those rounds being delivered by April 1912. During 1913 additional contracts were given to the Peters Cartridge Co. and the United States Cartridge Co. Those initial contract rounds were used for testing new pistols made under contract by Colt. Later, due to the increased needs during World War I, contracts for the Model 1911 ball cartridge were given to the Maxim Munitions Corp., Peters Cartridge Co., Remington Arms Co., United States Cartridge Co., Winchester Repeating Arms Co., and the Pan American Munitions Corp. However, the bulk of the M1911 ball rounds were manufactured by Frankford Arsenal, with production continuing in the post-war period.

Each "Buy It Now" single purchase is for 2 unassembled cartons with dividers and labels. The cartons, dividers and labels will be shipped flat, with assembly instructions. I had a lot of these made, so if you want multiple sets, just change the purchase quantity before you click on the "Buy It Now" button.

Check my feedback and buy with confidence. I prefer Paypal, and shipping is free within the U.S. I will ship internationally, but there will be extra shipping charges involved. Those extra charges MUST be paid by the buyer, and will be added by eBay during the checkout process. For international buyers of multiple items, I will combine shipping if you email me and ask.
