Marine Snapshackle Key FOB
One-handed operation.

The simple leather strap has a stainless steel 2" marine snapshackle (WLL #800 lbs) at one end, plus an all-stainless Split Ring at the other. We originally designed it for attaching small, 'quick access' items like keys, flashlights, rigging knives, etc. to our seabags and ditty bags. But as an all-purpose key fob, it can also be clipped to a belt loop, another set of keys, a pad eye, or any other point of convenience aboard the ship.
Both the snapshackle and the ring are type 316L Stainless Steel. There's nothing to rust and it's non-magnetic - so it won't affect the compass if used near the helm. (OK for minesweeping too!)
