Good example of a classic camera in good condition for its age.
KMZ made the best Zenits.
The viewfinder is clear but it does have a very pale line down the centre - it doesn't really affect viewing and, of course, it does not affect images.
All shutter speeds work and the self-timer does too.
Not sure if the meter work - the battery compartment is clean but I don't have the right batteries. I would rather use an external meter (or my own eyes) anyway.
The lens is clean and clear of fungus. The aperture blades are snappy and focus is smooth.
Unusually, for a Zenit, the case is a two-parter and can be separated.
It's a good solid camera and the Helios lens is one of the best lenses ever put on a camera.
It will accept any lens in M42 screw mount.
