Why is the hole on the downside and not on the side as seen on other hose connectors? The direction where the water sprays doesn't mater because the blades are dispercing it. But the water volume maters. It works better with hi-lift blades than mulch blades and directly after mowing when the dirt isn't dry and hard. Never use in electric mowers!Doesn't fit the original MTD (and other brands by MTD) hole. You need a round hole with a max. dia of 1/2".
It's neccessary one hose connector per blade!
