This is a Copper heatsink/fan combo for the earlier socketed CPUs. I've used it mostly with Intel Socket 370 and AMD Socket A applications over the years. These work great, as they move a lot of air, but are still very low profile compared to most other heatsink/fan combos. It has the little notch to accomodate the lip on the CPU socket (as is standard with almost all Heatsinks from this era).
The heatsink is used. I have pulled these out of old machines. However, it will be cleaned up, and a new 60mm Foxconn CPU fan is included. So this is basically like getting a new heatsink/fan. It is a standard 60mm sized fan.
One other advantage to this setup is that the retention clip covers all the tabs on the CPU socket. So, if you have a heatsink that only covers the middle tabs, and one of those tabs breaks, this heatsink/fan will get you back in business!
