The 2015 Blackout Shadow for Slow Pitch is constructed with a 1-piece, Double Wall Composite Design for great durability and a barrel that plays soft and strong. Mizuno also includes Black Array Carbon material to make up this bat, an explosive material that will maximize the performance capability of any bat, which is exactly what it does for the Blackout Shadow!

Mizuno includes a Coiled End Cap with a Half Ounce End Load on this bat as well, giving power hitter’s the extra weight in the barrel for more mass where it counts. This will increase the distances of hits if you’re a strong player who can whip it through the hitting zone in a timely manner. Another great feature with the Blackout Shadow is the Cylinder Seaming Technique that Mizuno uses, eliminating seams on the barrel and ultimately extends the bats lifespan. Mizuno also supplies the Blackout Shadow with Digi-Grip that’s wrapped around the handle, giving you the right bat grip you need for long cage sessions and prime time games.

Lastly, the Blackout Shadow comes with a USSSA 1.20 BPF Thumbprint Stamp, approving it for play in USSSA, NSA and ISA softball associations (not approved for ASA or ISF).
