Heavy Duty Roper Whitney continuous shear originally used for cutting circles in metal, plastic, gasket, rubber etc. This will cut very thick material. Can be used as a straight line shear since the throat is about 30" deep. Very heavy casting 1" or thicker in all areas. This shear has two rotary shafts top and bottom of the throat casting, both driven from the rear. Limited throat height of 5.5" but very strong casting for heavy material. This machine is built to last. 3 phase 440v could be easily converted to single phase motor as it is a simple hook up. I have visited a fabrication shop that turned one of these units into a planishing hammer like a pullmax machine, by using the top rotary shaft for the drive. Free shipping per guidelines below.
