A large decorative liturgical manuscript leaf on vellum, written most likely in a  French scriptorium around 1600.

Size of the leaf : ca. 22.25" x 15.4"(560 mm x 390 mm).

Condition: As shown in  good condition on sturdy vellum with the customary evidence of storing or ageing: toning of the vellum, soiling or staining, fading, edge flaws, original flaws in the vellum, candle wax drops stains, marginalia,  old repairs, etc. Most of the soiling could be removed by using a proper eraser. The leaf weighs over 2 ounces, which means that the package with the leaf will weight over 8 ounces.
