WW2 M1 Helmet Shell

Original WW2 GI M1 helmet shell, high dome type with swivel bails and stainless steel rim with seam in front. Heat number 813D well marked inside front just above brim, indicating McCord Radiator production. Shell has been repainted at some point and was re-textured with sawdust [not factory correct, of course, but actually looks pretty good], and the paint is very close to the original factory color. No chin straps present but no dents, stress cracks, rust or other damage. Nice clean example of a mid-war [late 1943-early 1944] steel pot for reenacting/living history/military vehicle use and is in excellent condition. Any questions please feel free to ask.
