This hub is used, but I've rebuilt it with new bearings and it's in good mechanical shape. The aluminum freehub has minimal marking up from cassette splines, but I can still mount and unmount them w/o trouble (I recommend using something like the cs-5700 because it places the bigger gears on a carrier and keeps them from further notching the splines.)
