KAYWOODIE Super Grain
c 1939-52, 4 Hole Stinger
79 Lg. Round Shank Canadian
Beautiful Grain - Great Shape!

Offering an early and beautiful Kaywoodie Super Grain. It's an early model 79 pipe dating from 1939-52 timeframe, a larger Canadian with long round shank and short saddle bit, made of Grecian briar, and it's a great looking pipe. This one shows off some very pretty tight birdseye and cross-grain with a rich natural stain, no real signs of use on the outside, light cake in the bowl. Shank near stem has a surface fissure which should no of no issue, but I like to be thorough in my descriptions. It's got a vulcanite bit with 4-hole stinger, stem has no tooth wear and lines up well to the shank. Pipe weighs about 1.25 ounces, and is a nice collectible early Kaywoodie. Carefully polished, draws well and is ready to smoke!

I’m offering some Rare & Collectible Kaywoodies now & upcoming.

Please see my other Auctions! Combined shipping of multiple items no problem! Saves you money... Additional cleaning may be desired on some pipes, as I focus on the exterior reconditioning and reaming, and leave the shank interior to the new owner. Pipe stand not included with any pipe.
