• Vintage Gallet Multichron Jim Clark

o Comes with original Gallet nylon strap

o Comes with original Gallet service box

o Watch keeps very good time, and chronograph function works for the 30-minute timer, the 12-hour timer unfortunately stopped working

o This watch goes normally north of $5000, but is priced as such for 2 reasons
 1. The 12-hour timer needs to be serviced to be in working condition
 2. The face was re-done by a previous owner who was a race car driver, and had the tachymeter re-done (12 to 4 o clock position) to his specifications. This was done professionally (I am assuming by Gallet), and is not noticeable until you compare side-by-side with another Jim Clark watch

o Other than the above mentioned the watch is in beautiful condition, it is an original black-faced multichron “Jim Clark” model with modifications. It keeps excellent time, and can be used daily.

o Priced as such to accommodate repair, and allowance for restoration costs that Gallet will do, check their website. A previous watch just sold last week for $5500, and will still need to be serviced; hence, you are getting a steal for this one. Please check sold items.

o I am unsure if this is an EP movement or a Valjoux 72, since I am not a watch technician, and cannot open the back.
