This listing is for a test and recondition service of your Ford/Lincoln/Mercury gauge cluster. Model years 1969-1986. From Pintos to Lincoln Continentals, and everything in between. Cars and trucks. For other years, please contact me.

Please contact me prior to purchase to let me know exactly what your needs are, and what you would like to have done. I would ask that you send pictures of your cluster, so I will have a rough idea of overall condition.

-PLEASE READ-***THIS IS A GENERAL SERVICE, AND THE PRICE VARIES DEPENDING ON WHAT EXACTLY YOU ARE LOOKING TO HAVE DONE*** This 'diagnosis' portion includes:-Testing individual gauges (tachs excluded)-Testing/replacing of bulbs and sockets-Testing of printed circuit board and regulator-Testing of the clock (where applicable)

The 'recondition' portion includes:(If you wish to have your existing working cluster "refreshed", I can do that too)-Disassembly and cleaning of gauge cluster housing and parts-Painting the gauge needles (using the correct Ford needle paint)-Hand polishing of the clear plastic lenses-Reassembly, and testing of the gauge cluster assembled

Additional Services:-Setting the odometer to ZERO or your desired mileage ($15)-Upgrading the illumination bulbs to LED ($15 for a bulb quantity of 6 or less, $18 for a bulb quantity of 7 or more) These will be tested and installed. 

What I am unable to do:-Replace a non-functioning gauge-Repair a cluster housing that is broken or crumbling (like many of the older housings)-Repair a badly damaged printed circuit board. In a case where there is a tiny break in one of the circuits, it may be able to be repaired, and I will contact you before hand.-Fix a severely damaged clock. If clock does not work, it will be disassembled, and inspected. Sometimes, a light cleaning and lubrication is all they need.

All other repairs are billed by the hour at a rate of $60

I have refurbished many 69-86 Ford/Lincoln/Mercury clusters over the years. I may or may not be able to meet your needs depending on your specific gauge cluster. Please contact me with any questions. 

Upon first contact and agreement, you would send me your cluster (well packaged please). I will go through it, maintain contact with you through the process. Once completed, I will send you some pictures of your gauge cluster. I will send the cluster back to you in the packaging I received it in. Flat rate return shipping is $25 (Prepaid by buyer. Either USPS or FedEx) in the US.

Turn around time is roughly 3-5 days. In some cases less.
