Offered is an antique calling card belonging to George Walter Macfarlane. This is a historic item dating to the time of his position in the Government of King Kalakaua. The text in the listing photos was written by Hans

Much has been written about Macfarlane's time relating to many official duties he performed at various times for the Kingdom of Hawaii. Such a close confidant of the King - Macfarlane  was actually with Kalakaua at the time of his death in San Francisco. Interestingly, after the Kings passing Liliuokalani removed him as Chamberlain replacing him with James W.Robertson.
